WORLD
in 2001 as a new start-up Broker after 8 years as a successful agent in
South Florida. His office is located in Weston, FL 35 miles North of
Miami. Ernesto currently has 2 offices with 165 agents. He celebrated
his expansion one year ago by moving into a new state-of-the-art
building with over 4300 square feet. His new office has some private,
some semi-private offices, and a large open area for agents to work. His
five year plan includes 2 additional offices and 1000 agents. His
success for growth is his value proposition to agents, education and
technology. His technology includes a completely wireless building,
with a server for master documents that the agents can access from any
computer in the office. He also has some laptop computers for agents to
use for presentations in the office, as well as 2 digital cameras. There
is a plasma screen and computer in the conference room for
presentations. Ernesto has a mass voice mail/mass texting communication
system that keeps him in touch with all of his agents’ in real time.
Ernesto believes that training is his greatest value. He conducts live training bi-weekly in the 40 x 20 training room, and does weekly coaching for all agents who signs up for it. “Always learn and go where the industry is going, don’t fight it” said Ernesto. He remembers his days as a beginner and encourages his new licensees to learn all they can. Ernesto attributes his success to his paradigm shift. “I stopped soliciting buyers and sellers and started soliciting agents on a daily basis” he quoted. He talks to every Realtor within a 10 mile radius of his office by phone or email each week. He heavily recruits new licensees and has a full time |
assistant who sets appointments for interviews. Ernesto’s revised website, www.rwsf.com will be live by January and will incorporate Internet 2.0 and a blog for agents and for customers and clients.
